Salkantay trek Through Llactapata, in the morning, our private transportation will pick you up from your hotel between 4:00 and 4:30 am to head northwest towards Mollepata, a small district of Anta 90 km from the city of Cusco.

You can get water or breakfast (not included in the tour).

The car trip continues to Challacancha, you will rest and prepare your trekking equipment.

A 3-hour walk begins to our first camp in Soraypampa, along the way you will see the “Inka canals” used to irrigate the planting fields, we will also enjoy a delicious lunch.

We will take a 3-hour hike in the afternoon to visit Lake Humantay, then we will return to our camp in Soraypampa, we will have dinner and the guide will give some recommendations for the next day.

Salkantay trek Through Llactapata, you wake up, you will enjoy a nutritious breakfast and prepare for the second day of walking.

We will begin a 4-hour walk to the top of the Abra Salkantay pass at 4,620 meters above sea level, which will be the most difficult part of the route.

In this place you will appreciate the beauty of the Vilcabamba mountain range.

Traditionally, piles of Apache stone are built that have symbolic value because they are considered a sign of success, fortune and luck for the traveler.

We will descend for 2 hours until we reach Arayanniyoq”, a small community at 3600 meters above sea level where you will rest and enjoy a traditional lunch prepared with local ingredients.

The trip continues for 3 hours until we reach “Chaullay”, our second camp, where you can have dinner and spend the night.

Salkantay trek Through Llactapata,  will wake up at 6:00 am to enjoy an Andean breakfast and begin the third day of hiking.

Our trip will begin with a 4-hour walk to "Collcapampa" through straight trails with abundant flora of the area, we will also appreciate local towns and farms.

We will arrive at the “Sahuayacco beach” known for being very close to the Salkantay basin and here we will enjoy an Andean lunch rich in protein.

Continuing the tour you will connect with the long-awaited and popular Inca Trail, used in the time of the Incas to reach Machu Picchu. We will walk uphill for 3 hours through lush valleys to Llactapata, an archaeological center with many platforms and Qolqas (food shops)

Near Llactapata is our third camp (lodge), we will enjoy a traditional dinner and sleep until the next day.

Salkantay trek Through Llactapata, the previous day, we will wake up to a warm and skin-friendly climate, we will have breakfast and prepare our trekking equipment to continue our trip.

We will descend for 2 and a half hours to Hidroeléctrica, along the way we will appreciate lush vegetation, waterfalls, fruit trees and birds.

Arriving at Hidroeléctrica we will have lunch, then continuing our route we will cross paths that accompany railways and tropical valleys until we reach Aguas Calientes.

You can take the Hidroelectrica – Aguas Calientes train that costs 35 DOLLARS (optional)

We will meet in the main square of Aguas Calientes to go to our hotel where we will have dinner and the guide will give us the necessary information for the next day.

Salkantay trek Through Llactapata,  fully enjoy Machu Picchu we will wake up at 4:30 am, have breakfast and begin a 2-hour walk to the complex.

This archaeological center opens at 6:00 am, we will begin the tour of the citadel with the guide for 2 hours, we will learn about the history hidden in the streets, ceremonial centers, temples, squares and mansions of Machu Picchu.

At the end, you will be able to climb the mountain ”Huayna Picchu” or ”Montaña Machu Picchu” (prior reservation).

You will return to Aguas Calientes, and you will take the train to the Ollantaytambo station, our private transportation awaits you.

We will conclude our services by leaving you in the safety of your hotel.
