Day 1 :

Cusco - Cachora - Chiquisca

Pick up from the hotel at 4.00 am, in a private tourist vehicle and then begin our trip to the town of Cachora, on the way we will cross the Cunyac bridge over the Apurimac River, continuing the trip we arrive at the town of Curahuasi, where we will appreciate native crops such as corn, anise and others.

Then we will ascend to 3500m above sea level to visit the archaeological center of Saywite (Ceremonial Center dedicated to the worship of water). Continuing the trip to Cachora, on the way we will observe the imposing snow-capped mountains of the Vilcamba mountain range.

In Cachora we will meet our muleteers, mules and horses who will transport the equipment and food during the trip. After lunch we will begin the walk towards Chikiska.

Approximately after two hours of walking along a path through the native vegetation, we arrive at the Capuliyoc viewpoint, from where we will observe the majesty of the Can del Apurimac. Then we will descend until we reach the Chikiska campsite. (1,500 meters above sea level).

Day 2 :

Chiquisca - Choquequirao

After breakfast we begin our walk to the Apurimac River Sector of the Rosalina Bridge, continuing we arrive at the Santa Rosa sector where we will enjoy a panoramic view over the valley of the Apurimac River and appreciate the traditional production of sugar cane liquor (cañazo), which produced by the residents of this sector.

Later we ascend to the Marampata sector (2500 meters above sea level) where we have lunch, then we continue the trip and arrive at the Choquequirao camp at approximately 4 in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight.

After breakfast we begin the descent walk until we reach the valley of the Rio Blanco where we will take a refreshing bath in the crystal clear melt waters of the snow-capped mountains that form said river, we will have lunch and then we will begin the ascent to the Maizal camp arriving at approximately 4 o'clock. in the afternoon to see the beautiful sunset in the middle of the Peruvian Andes.

Day 5 :

Cornfield - Yanama

This morning we will begin the walk along a path among the dense vegetation of a humid forest, and then arrive at the Mina Victoria open, where we will have lunch, observing the majestic snow-capped mountains and the Peruvian Andes, then we will continue walking along an Inca path that is still used by the residents of the area until reaching the Yanama camp (4,800 meters above sea level).

Day 6 :

Yanama - Totora

We started the walk in the middle of the mountain range, we had lunch in the Yanama pass sector, we continued the hike and arrived at the Totora camp.

Day 7 :

Totora - Sahuayacu Beach

We begin the descent through the jungle eyebrow sector, until we reach the Colpapampa sector where we will have lunch, then we continue the trip through the dense vegetation where we observe waterfalls, native flora and fauna until we arrive at the Sahuayacu beach sector where Our walk ends with a dancing bonfire and beer at will.

Day 8 :

Sahuayacu Beach - Santa Teresa - Aguas Calientes

Very early we board a car heading to the town of Santa Teresa, after having breakfast we will begin the walk towards the Machupicchu Hydroelectric Power Plant. Having lunch we will board the train to Aguas Calientes, where we will stay the night.

Day 9 :

Aguas Calientes - Machupicchu - Cusco

Having breakfast very early, we will take the bus to the Archaeological Complex of Machupicchu, there we will have a guided tour of the entire archaeological site then you will have free time, and if you wish we can go up to Huaynapicchu. In the afternoon we will return to Aguas Calientes, to board the train to Cusco, where we will arrive at approximately 8 pm.
