Hike to the Jewel in the Mountains
Today you will get an early start and head in private transportation to Mollepata to enjoy a good breakfast before continuing to Challacancha, the starting point of the trek. Then, we will hike for about three hours to Soraypampa and spend the night in our exclusive Sky Camp.
After an energizing lunch and a well-deserved rest, we will ascend to the impressive jewel of the mountain, the Humantay Lake; it is a three-hour round trip before descending for a tasty dinner and a well-deserved sleep.

Our dazzling SKY CAMP is located in front of the impressive mountains Humantay and Salkantay. This campsite creates the perfect union of sky and earth. It allows you to sleep calmly under a clear sky starred with an exceptional view of the constellations. At the same time, you can enjoy all the comforts of a first-class vacation home.
The Stunning Salkantay Pass and Descent to the Amazon Jungle
Today is the most challenging, but the reward will be great as you will get fantastic views of wonderful landscapes. After tasting our breakfast, we will hike for approximately three hours to the Salkantay pass, where we will spend time taking pictures of the incredible panorama.
Afterward, we will descend through the cloud forest to the lunch spot before continuing to the jungle’s edge amidst exotic scenery. Finally, we will arrive at the exclusive Mountain Sky View Campsite in Collpapampa for the night.

Our campsite Mountain Sky View is a warm mountain accommodation and our novelty this year, and it’s with great pleasure that we prepared this place for all those looking for a glamping experience surrounded by nature. Each one of its individual Andean Sky Huts counts with a private bath besides spectacular tropical mountain views. You’ll find peace under the shining stars listening to the voices of wildlife and the whispers of the river in
the valley.
Live the coffee experience
Our day begins at 6:00 a.m. with a warm cup of tea and breakfast before departing the camp site for a scenic walk through the Santa Teresa Valley. Following a gentle downhill trail, we’ll pass rivers, waterfalls, orchids, and plantations of banana, coffee, avocado, and granadilla (passion fruit). At La Playa, you’ll have free time to explore and visit a local organic coffee farm, as well as avocado, orange, and passion fruit plantations, gaining insight into the region’s rich agricultural traditions.
Afterward, we’ll head to Lucmabamba (2,000 m/ 6,562 ft) to enjoy lunch at our exclusive Super Jungle Domes campsite. In the afternoon, we’ll visit the relaxing Cocalmayo hot springs to soak in their warm, mineral-rich waters. We’ll then return to the campsite for dinner and rest, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of natureand reconnecting with Mother Earth.

From the comfort of our domes, you get to be in intimate contact with the surrounding nature. As you hear the voices of the wind, rain, and flora and fauna in the area, immerse yourself in this green environment.
Enjoy Your First Glance of Machu Picchu from Llactapata
Today’s adventure will be more exciting as you hike along part of the original Inca Trail. You will hike for two hours to an Inca archaeological site, Llactapata. You will learn all about its history and get your first view of Machu Picchu.
Then, you will descend for lunch before heading to Hidroeléctrica. From here, you will board the train to Aguas Calientes. Once there, you will have dinner at a restaurant and sleep in a hotel before tomorrow’s grand day.

Tour of the Incredible Citadel of Machu Picchu
Today is the most important part of the trip! You will finally visit one of the seven wonders of the modern world, Machu Picchu. After an early start to the day, you’ll head to the citadel by bus to avoid the crowds. Once you are inside and enjoy the initial view, you’ll have an approximately two-hour guided tour and learn everything you need about the site.
You’ll then have time to climb an additional mountain if you book your ticket in advance. Afterward, we’ll return to Aguas Calientes, where you’ll have lunch and board the train to
Ollantaytambo. From there, our transportation will take you back to your hotel in Cusco. Now it’s time to rest after an unforgettable once-in-a-lifetime experience.
