Our private transportation will pick you up at your hotel from 4:00 to 4:30 am to begin our adventure.
We will begin our trip heading northwest to Mollepata in the Apurímac River valley, where you will enjoy an Andean buffet breakfast (it is also a good time to buy water and snacks).
The tour continues along a path that will connect us with the community of Soraypampa at 3900 meters above sea level (1 hour and a half). Upon arrival, you will rest and prepare for the 2 km walk to Lake Humantay.
The route features snow-capped mountains, rocky roads, rivers, a wide variety of flora, Andean fauna and a climate that will vary along the route. After a long trip you will arrive at Humantay, a beautiful lagoon that amazes with the mysticism and magic of its waters. As part of the itinerary, the guide will explain the geographical background and history.
You will have free time to take photos or videos.
We will return to the community of Soraypampa where our private transportation awaits us, you will enjoy a delicious Andean buffet lunch in Mollepata (The snow-capped Salkantay and Verónica will beautify our view)
The tour will end by returning to the city of Cusco, our transportation will leave our travelers at their hotels or near the main square.

You will continue until you reach “Sangarara” where you will enjoy an Andean breakfast (The transfer from Cusco to this point takes 2 hours).
We will then head along a zigzagging path to a parking lot in the community of Rinconada, beginning our walk towards Waqrapukara. The trip takes 3 hours to reach the archaeological center, during the walk you can see rocky trails, flora and fauna typical of the area.
On the way, you will visit the Waqrapukara viewpoint, an elevated area from where you can observe the valley that surrounds the mountain, on the premises, the guide will assist you for 2 hours. We will visit the Puerta del Sol, the main square, terraces, the Wiracocha enclosure and Andean cave paintings. At the end of the visit you will have an hour to explore the place and take photos or videos.
We will return to the community of La Rinconada where our mobility awaits us.
Returning to Sangarara, you will enjoy a hearty and delicious lunch prepared with ingredients harvested in the community.
We will return to the city of Cusco at 6:00 pm and we will drop our travelers off at their hotels or near the main square.
