A trail with unbeatable views and full of challenges
The adventure in the snowy Salkantay mountain, located in Cusco, is an experience that combines the majesty of nature with the cultural richness of Peru.
Along the way, we pass through varied landscapes: from arid and rocky highlands to green and fertile valleys. One of the most memorable experiences was camping in the middle of nature, where the night sky was filled with stars and the tranquility of the surroundings enveloped us. The nights were cold, but the camaraderie of the group and the warmth of the campfires made it all worthwhile.
The Salkantay trek was not only a test of physical endurance, but also an opportunity to connect with nature and the history of Peru. Every step, every panoramic view and every interaction with fellow travelers and local people, enriched this experience that will be etched in my memory forever.
