By booking a tour or service with us, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.
1. General Information
Peruvian Jungle is Live, is a legally registered travel agency based in Peru.
Our services consist of offering and promoting tourist packages provided by officially registered and recognized tour operators in Peru. Each package includes a detailed description of the services offered by the corresponding operator, which may include activities such as guided tours, transportation, accommodations, and others, depending on the itinerary.
If Peruvian Jungle is Live accepts your reservation, you will receive a confirmation email along with an invoice. As mentioned previously, a contract between you and the company will be established from the date the confirmation is issued and will remain valid until the end of the tour.
If we receive your booking late and there are only seven days or fewer before the tour departure date, the contract will begin from the date your payment is accepted.
Details regarding your final payment will be included in your confirmation invoice. For early bookings, the full remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days before the tour departure date. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of your reservation.
For late bookings made close to the tour date, the full payment must be made at the time of booking in order to confirm the reservation.
2. Booking and Payments
All reservations must be made through our official website, email, or authorized representatives.
To confirm a reservation, a deposit of 50% of the total tour price per person and per trip is required.
If the reservation is made less than 30 days before the departure date, the full payment (100%) must be made at the time of booking in order to confirm the order and secure the services.
Payments can be made via credit card, PayPal, bank transfer, or other accepted methods.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations made 30 days or more prior to the tour start date are eligible for a full refund minus any transaction fees.
Cancellations made between 15 and 29 days before the tour start date will be refunded 50%.
No refunds will be given for cancellations made less than 15 days before the tour, or for no-shows.
Some services such as entrance tickets (e.g. Machu Picchu) or domestic flights may be non-refundable.
4. Changes and Modifications
We reserve the right to make changes to the itinerary due to weather conditions, safety concerns, strikes, or other unforeseen circumstances.
If a tour or activity is canceled by us, you will receive a full refund or an alternative service of equal value.
5. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is not included in our packages. We strongly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical expenses, cancellations, and baggage loss.
6. Responsibilities of the Traveler
Travelers must provide accurate personal information at the time of booking.
It is your responsibility to have a valid passport and meet visa requirements for entering Peru.
You must inform us in advance of any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary restrictions.
7. Liability Disclaimer
[Your Travel Agency Name] is not liable for delays, losses, accidents, injuries, or damages resulting from circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, or acts of God.
Participation in adventure activities (e.g., trekking, rafting) is at your own risk.
8. Complaints and Claims
Any complaint must be reported to the guide or agency representative during the tour so we can address the issue immediately.
Claims submitted after the tour must be made in writing within 14 days of the service date.
9. Use of Images and Testimonials
By participating in our tours, you agree that we may use photos or videos taken during the trip for promotional purposes, unless you request otherwise in writing.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Peru.
11. Medical Conditions and Health Requirements
All travelers must be in good physical and mental health appropriate for the activities included in the tour.
It is your responsibility to inform us, at the time of booking, of any pre-existing medical conditions, recent surgeries, chronic illnesses, or disabilities that may affect your ability to participate in the tour.
We reserve the right to deny participation if a traveler is deemed unfit for the activity or if the condition poses a risk to themselves or the group.
If you are taking medication or require special treatment, you must bring the necessary supplies with you, as access to medical facilities may be limited in remote areas.
In the case of emergency medical situations, all expenses incurred (including evacuation, transport, or hospitalization) are the responsibility of the traveler. We strongly recommend having travel insurance that covers medical emergencies.
We are not responsible for any health issues or injuries that arise during the tour due to undisclosed medical conditions.
